One of the reasons people make quilts is to cope with difficult passages in their lives. This is such a quilt. It is pure emotion—no intellectual puzzle or geometric underpinning. True to its title and purpose, there are some ragged edges. Also beading, embroidery, bits of plastic and stripes that become snakes. It is hand quilted.
